Hi Mindset Monday Family!
Today, I am posting my very first blog post on the Mindset Monday website. I want to keep this blog updated as more podcast episodes are underway for the summer of 2021! What defines a mindset? As a high school student, I have learned that a "Mindset" is different for each and every person. Each person can and should CUSTOMIZE their own mindset. In light of this gross oversimplification, I should remind you all that a mindset is an "established set of attitudes, values, or beliefs". After reading Mindset by Dr. Carol Dweck a countless number of times, I still struggle to identify what exactly my mindset is. That is why I want to address why your MINDSET is so important in various areas of life. Whether you learn how to grow and develop an ANTI-RACIST Mindset, a POSITIVE GROWTH MINDSET, or a MATH MINDSET, your mindset is 100% yours. This podcast aims to inspire listeners with different values, beliefs, and attitudes that shape strong and successful mindset in various areas. We don't talk about MINDSET enough. I believe that people restrict themselves with the wrong mindset-their mind becomes an obstacle. No matter how you want to develop a better mindset, if you value GROWTH and open your mind to learning, you can achieve it. Mindset Monday is a platform for GROWTH. |
